MARIA MEXICAN LAGER

Reimagining ‘Maria’ Mexican Lager has been a journey of blending tradition with design. Drawing from the beer’s roots and the vibrant culture it represents, I've re-imagined the look and feel of the label with bold colors that celebrate Exile’s connection to the local Hispanic and Mexican community. This ongoing project has allowed me to creatively extend Maria’s identity beyond the can, through thoughtfully designed glassware, apparel, and packaging, billboards, and so much more.

Swarm beverage alliance

Collaborating with the Swarm Beverage Alliance allowed me to merge creativity with community impact. Designing the can for Exile’s all-new Swarm Vodka Soda, a refreshing blackberry lemon flavor, was a chance to craft a visual identity that resonates with Iowa Swarm Collective's philanthropic spirit, and the brands they collaborate with. In addition, the full bus-wrap for the 'Swarm Bus' was an exciting extension of this project, bringing the energy of Swarm products to every Iowa home game tailgate.

MUG CLUB

One of my first creative projects at Exile, Mug Club, was an exciting challenge to develop a visual identity for an exclusive, members-only experience. Designing custom IDs for over 100 members, along with unique shirts, ceramic steins, and posters, allowed me to build a cohesive brand that celebrates community and craft beer.

Also one of the first projects I took on at Exile, designing the 12-PK can carrier for Exile’s 'World Class Lager Pack' was an opportunity to highlight the global inspiration behind each beer. Leaning into the 'world class' theme, I wanted to show Des Moines customers that they can experience a variety of international flavors without leaving their backyard. Each can in the pack is a tribute to the culture and destination it represents.

‘THE SECOND SAIL’

With the second edition of Exile’s 'World Class Lager Pack,' I embraced the theme 'The Second Sail,' crafting a fresh take on this seasonal lineup. I had the opportunity to design and name TWO new beers: 'Port of Shadows,' a Baltic Porter with visuals inspired by the Baltic Sea, and 'Clockwork Pils,' a Czech Pilsner reflecting the iconic astrological clock in the heart of the Czech Republic. This project allowed me to explore new creative avenues while continuing the global storytelling behind the pack.

SNOWGLOBE 2024

For Exile's annual ‘SnowGlobe’ pop-up, my creative direction focused on crafting a vibrant and immersive experience. From designing playful menus, festive sweaters, and sweater koozies to creating custom table signage and matchbooks, I aimed to capture the joyful spirit of the season in every detail. The overall graphic promotion and photography work for the event highlights SnowGlobe as a premier holiday destination in Des Moines, blending an immersive experience with an exuberant design direction.
